How to map a network drive with WebDAV?

Each user on the WebConnect system will have the ability to mount a WebDAV share.
The URL needs to be created using your WebConnect domain and /wbc/[USERNAME]
for example [https://mydevice\.webconnect\.pro/wbc/user1\]\(https://mydevice\.webconnect\.pro/wbc/user1\)
And the login credentials will correspond to the username and password from WebConnect
Mapping the network drive on windows 10 can be done in the following way:

  • Open the file explorer and right click on "This PC" and select "Map network drive"

You can also open "This PC" and click on the computer tab and click on "Map network drive"

  • Enter the URL in the "Folder" field and check "Connect using different credentials" as we need to sign in with the WebConnect credentials.
  • After that, your new folder will be available in "This PC" , keep in mind Microsoft Windows limits upload and download file sizes to 4GB. Uploading files bigger than 4GB will not work with WebDAV.file-nD3Yn9648R.png

On Windows 11 you will need to activate file sharing for WebDAV to work:

Open the Control Panel and navigate to "Programs and Features / Turn Windows Features On or Off" and make sure "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" is checked.
