Creation of the WebConnect Micro SD card (for new installation)

Creating a new SD card is only necessary if you want to set up your WebConnect co-router again. When the WebConnect co-router is delivered, the SD card is already pre-installed for immediate use.

How to configure the WebConnect Micro SD card

You will need

  • a write drive for Micro SD cards
  • a Micro SD card (e.g. 32 GB)
  • BalenaEtcher App
  • Download the newest WebConnect image file: Download.

Important!

Now remove the card from the drive and reinsert it. Now the drive should open showing all files. Otherwise open the drive via the file explorer:

The SD card can now be inserted into the WebConnect device. To do this, disconnect the WebConnect from the power supply. After inserting, start the device. Further initialization is carried out by the device. After a few minutes, the subdomain can be called up and the device can be put into operation. The instructions for this can be found here: Set up WebConnect
